The Cumbernauld Fire Station organised a charity football event at Broadwood Stadium to raise money for charity.

The firefighters, whose team was named Red Devils, were one of 16 teams to take part in the event and were runners ups on the day.

Off the pitch there were a number of stalls for families to enjoy as well as a sports quiz held in the stadium bar.

A total of £1700 was raised at the event and went to the Childrens Hospice Association Scotland and the Firefighters Charity.
